Job Description

Were recruiting a confident and organised Business Development Manager for our client, a company at the forefront of the merchant services sector. They are well known for revolutionising the card payments market as well as their people-first values andthe importance they place on employee well-being.Youll be joining the company in a field-based role, close to home in which you will be approaching independent businesses to help them reduce their costs in taking card payments. The market is SMEs, so you will be selling into small businesses in the Sheffieldarea. From hairdressers to plumbers, and restaurants through to MOT garages. Overall, your role is to win over customers and switch them to our clients service and youll be supported by a market-leading proposition including flexible one-month rolling contracts, next-day banking, guaranteed cost savings and a customer service offeringthats rated Excellent on Trust Pilot.Skill and Experience Industry experience is not required, but proof of previous success is a must were looking for someone with:* A hunter mentality, driven to earn high commissions and incentives* Results-orientated with a proven track record of hitting targets* A People person with the tenacity to cold call in the field every day and maximise opportunities through referrals, networking and relationship-building* Good organisation and planning skills* A full driving licenseYoull be given full training and induction when you start with ongoing training and support throughout your time with the company.HoursYoull be working Monday to Friday, with core hours of 9am to 5.30pm but our client is open to full and part-time applications.Package and BenefitsAs a Business Development Manager, an excellent package awaits you, youll be earning a basic salary of £32,000 + £4,800 car allowance + 25p per mile fuel + uncapped commission and a bonus!
