Job Description

Business Development Managers for a world leading supplier of specialist industrial lubricants for process manufacturing industries.The Role: Outstanding opportunity for two Business Development Managers inside our clients industrial division selling high value specialist lubricants to manufacturing industries including the energy sector (including all sub-sectors ofthe energy industry including coal/gas fired power stations, wind, wave, CHP, stationary gas engines), cardboard, wood, paper, food, beverage, process manufacturing and packaging industries. The role is primarily Business Development, targeting sales to focusmarkets, identifying and prioritising opportunities and activities accordingly. The Business Development Managers will develop and deliver sales proposals to customers, using your consultative sales techniques to form long term business relationships withkey decision makers. As Business Development Managers you will manage the sales process and implement plans to increase clients usage of the companys range of specialised lubricants and associated services including condition monitoring, fluid managementservices, audits, plant surveys and failure analysis.Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Manager roles you must have:
  • Experience selling into the industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Ability to demonstrate how you have achieved profitable sales growth.
  • Reviewing, analysing and understanding new business opportunities and then planning, prioritising and implementing accordingly.
  • Ability to project manage complex business opportunities, involving multi-site operations, with the capability to write, deliver and present sales proposals.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of technical knowledge in respect to key products and processes.

  • Basic: £55k.
  • Bonus: 5% contribution of contracted business through 3 years of trading.
