SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.We are currently looking to recruit a Business Applications Support Analyst to provide IT Application and Integration Services into the SIG Business. The role holder will work as part of a small team of broadly disciplined 2nd line ApplicationAnalysts providing Incident/Problem resolution and request fulfilment activities.What does the role involveAs a Business Applications Support Analyst, you will delivery 2nd line Incident resolution and Service Request fulfilment across the portfolio of SIG Enterprise Applications within defined SLA/OLA and KPIs. You will work to resolve assignedproblems as part of the Problem Management Process within defined SLA/OLA and KPI metrics and provide project Support (Transition of IT Services).You will also be working with Third Party partner technical teams in the above highlighted areas (Incident, Request and Problem) and work in the identification of CSI (Continual Service Improvement) activities.The successful candidate will require: An in-depth knowledge of the K8 Babbage ERP system or comparable ERP system is essential, with demonstrable experience of providing 2nd line support A good understanding of SIG branch and back-office business processes A good understanding of General Accounting processes including the General Ledger and Journaling processes Experience in managing conflicting priorities Experience of Providing Level 2 Support on an IPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) platform (SIG currently utilise Snaplogic) Experience of working in an ITIL based IT Service Delivery organisationIn return we offer: Highly Competitive salary with annual pay award and excellent bonus scheme 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
