Building Fabric Technician required by well-established electrical and mechanical facilities management company based in Sheffield. Salary £28,500 plus on-call payment and overtime.We are now looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Building Fabric Technician to join the team. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for providing Building and Fabric Maintenance across a range of disciplines covering multiplesites & sectors in the Yorkshire and Midlands area. Key Responsibilities:You will be responsible for planned, reactive and installation works in both external and internal areas which will include:-Building structure -Internal fabric -Joinery and security-Plumbing and drainage You will be required to:-Follow instructions from Line Manager regarding scheme and scope of works-Carry out tasks in accordance with the Service Level Agreements-Monitor and update the CAFM system-Liaise with our Health and Safety Forum wo work in accordance with Site Safety RegulationsPersonal Specification:-NVQ Level 2 General Building Operations or similar qualification (Level 2 Diploma in Construction Skills Bench or Joinery)-Valid and up to date CSCS; full driving licence-Previous experience in building maintenance or shopfitting-Ability to carry out work to a high standard-Ability to repair and maintain a range of equipment-Ability to use own initiative, working accurately with policies and procedures-Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines-PC literate and good written and verbal communication skills with a customer focusApply Now with your CV and a Covering Note and we look forward to hearing from you.
