Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Brickwork Tutor to work on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield. The hours of work are full time, Monday to Friday starting at 8.30am, and the hourly rate is £25 per hour with holiday pay on top.As the Brickwork Tutor your duties will include:

  • Help to teach the qualification for the skills required in the brickwork industry.
  • Impart the importance and understanding of health and safety and the working practices that it entails within the construction arena
  • Teach students various skills including mixing of mortar, preparation and construction of various walls as well as the safe disposal of waste.
  • Teaching a small class size of between 6 and 8.
As the successful Brickwork Tutor you will have:
  • Level 3 or equivalent Vocationally relevant qualification
  • Relevant Teaching qualification
  • Relevant experience of supporting students through assignments and assessments.
