Job Description

Job Title - Billing AdministratorJob Type - Permanent, full-time, hybrid workingSalary - £24,000-£27,000IPS Finance are in touch with a reputable law firm located in the heart of Sheffield City Centre.With a growth in their business, they are seeking an experienced Billing Administrator to join their team. The firm offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment, along with attractive benefits such as hybrid working, flexible hours, and more.As a Billing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in working with colleagues to prepare bills, distribut them, resolve billing queries and wherever possible arrange for bills to be settled.Responsibilities

  • Preparing bills for trust administration work
  • Creating and proactively maintaining billing schedules and record keeping
  • Liaising with individuals and management, fee earners, partners, other teams, and the firms credit controller in relation to the firms billing work
  • Liaising with third parties associated with the billing process
  • Monitoring costs and assisting the firms and teams management in regard to establishing best working practices
  • Preparing financial reports using excel formulas and pivot tables
  • Reviewing and reporting on WIP and disbursements
Experience
  • Ability to use MS Excel to an advanced level
  • Ability to work to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to liaise and build strong relationships with colleagues across the firm and with third parties
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time and expectations to others both internally and externally
  • Attention to detail
  • Operate flexibly as part of a team
  • Ability to analyse information
