Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a number of Benefits Officers to work on behalf of a leading public sector organisation on a work from home basis.You will be responsible for processing applications for Housing Benefits Support accurately in line with Housing Benefit Regulations. The systems used are Capita One and Information at Work, any knowledge of these systems would be advantageous.Main duties will include:

  • Processing all tenure type New ClaimsPrivate Rented, LA Housing and Housing Association Claims. (Board and Lodge and Supported Housing Claims if possible)
  • Undertake the assessment of all types of changes to a live claim
  • Assess VEP, UC and Atlas claims
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have experience working within a similar role for Housing benefits
  • Have excellent IT skills and be confident in picking up new systems
  • Have fantastic communication and customer service skills
  • Be happy working in a role that is purely remote based (you can be based anywhere in the UK as long as you have a good internet connection).
