Job Description

AZURE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATORREMOTE, UK BASED£45-60,000A UK based, global software company operating within the compliance space is seeking an Azure Systems Administrator to act as the technical expert responsible for the management of cloud system infrastructure, database integrations and security.BENEFITSThe company have a fully remote working culture across the business and offer flexible working. Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus Bank holidays and the pension contribution is 4%.WHAT YOULL BE DOINGAs an Azure Systems Administrator your key duties will include:

  • Maintaining the day-to-day operation of the cloud infrastructure
  • Carrying out monitoring of systems to ensure health and security
  • Maintaining firewall and security policies
  • Driving SOC and other information security audits
  • Helping conduct pen-testing and other security tests internally and through 3rd parties
  • Designing and implementing secure infrastructure to support customer requirements
  • Providing support and consultation on project implementations
WHAT YOULL NEEDTo be considered for the Azure Systems Administrator role, you must have:
  • Expert knowledge in supporting and administering databases and web technologies e.g. MS SQL Server and IIS
  • Expert knowledge in AWS and Azure hosting platforms
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Windows Sever and the .NET stack
  • Experience of building end to end solutions across multi-tier platforms
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of product compliance i.e. RoHS, REACH, Prop65, WEEE, Conflict Minerals (desirable)
  • Experience in ASP .NET/C# preferably (desirable)
