Automotive Customer Service AdvisorSheffield£24,000 OTE £25,050

  • Permanent position, Monday to Friday ( 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, 4 hours)

They are also winners of numerous prestigious awards.This position for a Bodyshop Customer Service advisor is an important role within the repair centre, as you will be the first person that all customers deal with and so delivery of a first-class service is essential. This position and requires an experiencedcandidate who has worked in either an Accident repair centre, dealership or automotive business.As an Automotive Customer Service Advisor / Bodyshop Administrator your role will include:
  • Handle calls from customers who have their vehicle booked in for repair with the centre
  • Deal with all administration regarding all customer claims and documentation
  • Ensure customer awareness of all products and services available
  • Approach all customers and assist with requests, including requests regarding vehicle repairs
  • Move cars around the site
  • Prepare job packs
  • Ensure account customers have sufficient credit to enable all work advised to be carried out as agreed
  • Handle dissatisfied customers calmly and all customer complaints to be brought to the attention of the Bodyshop Manager
  • Initiate job documentation and maintain customer records and follow-up systems
  • Follow correct procedure when issuing courtesy cars to customers, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and copies of customers driving licence are obtained (when applicable)
  • Receive and register payments for work carried out and ensure that the correct company procedures are adopted for verification of payment, handling, transferring and depositing cash for the Paint & Body Centre (if applicable)
  • Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the Operations Managers
Experience Required: Automotive Customer Service Advisor / Bodyshop Administrator
  • You must have an excellent customer focused service background
  • Ideally you will have worked in a Bodyshop / Accident repair centre or Dealership in a customer focused role
  • You will be excellent on the telephone
  • Multi-tasking is essential as this role is very busy and requires attention to detail
  • Ability to upsell to customers
