This role of the Audit Senior requires a diligent and detail-oriented individual who can lead an audit team in the Professional Services industry, specifically in the Accounting & Finance department.Client DetailsThis is an independent firm based near Doncaster boasting a strong client base spanning various industries, offering diverse opportunities for its employees to grow and excel in their careers. Specialising in Accounting & Finance, the firm adheres to thehighest standards of professionalism and integrity.Description· Supporting the firms Audit Managers and Partners.· Planning, fieldwork and completion of audit assignments.· Delegating and supervising work of more junior members of the team and reviewing their work.· Regular communication with managers, partners and other staff.· Preparation of annual statutory financial statements (from a complete client trial balance)· Identify and understand client needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters and communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with managers.· Preparation and/or review of corporate tax computation and return· Take primary responsibility for preparing and monitoring progress against budget.· Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within audit teams.· Use of CCH Pro Audit for audit work and Digita for Financial Statements and Corporation Tax computations/ returns· Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.ProfileA successful Audit Senior should have:
