You will and correctly classify and advise staff of any risks.Your role will also involve:- Negotiating third party quotes with suppliers of waste management- Setting prices to meet business goals- Developing working relationships with, and advising, customersAbout YouTo be considered as an Assistant Technical Co-ordinator / Chemist, you will need:- A degree level in chemistry or a related subject- To have achieved, or have the willingness to achieve, COTC in Hazardous Treatment- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills- The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team- A flexible approach- Proficiency in IT, including MS OfficeKnowledge of transporting hazardous goods would be beneficial to your application, as would experience in the hazardous waste treatment industry or chemical industry.Other organisations may call this role Chemistry Adviser, Technical Adviser, Operations Chemist, Chemistry Analyst, Graduate Technical Advisor, Hazardous Waste Advisor, or Waste Chemist.Webrecruit and FCC Environment are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
