Job Description

We are recruiting for an Assistant Sales Manager for our client who manufactures engineering products for the construction industry which have been featured in many prestigious projects around the world. Their history began more than 100 years ago and areknown to understand how to empower their employees by focusing on learning, supporting, and recognizing talent from within.A typical working day will consist of speaking with new and existing clients to develop and sustain long standing relationships while also building brand awareness, keeping up to date with products and competitors in the area and increasing business opportunitiesthrough various channels.As an Assistant Sales Manager you will:

  • Developing strategies to promote companys products
  • Maintaining and evolving new and existing client relationships
  • Attending client visits
  • Logging and processing new enquiries and communicating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of projects
What we are looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate
The working hours are Monday-Friday 8.45am-4.45pm(the company can also accommodate earlier start/finish times) with salary of £35,000 per annum + discretionary team bonus of upto £1,800 p/a, company pension, team building, private healthcare and 33 daysholiday.Castle Employment is an award-winning recruitment company based in Scarborough, Leeds and York.
