Robert Walters Group: Assistant Management Accountant - Sheffield - Permanent - £28,000An opportunity has arisen for a market leading business based in Sheffield in their recruitment of a Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis paying £28k. You will report directly to the Senior Management Accountant and will be delivering ManagementInformation to the General Manager, Operations team, Finance, and the Board. You will be responsible to produce daily, weekly and monthly finance reporting for review.Key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant:* Preparation of the Management Accounts for multiple cost centres to review level.* Investigate and explain variances in the Management Accounts.* Reconciling and preparing monthly balance sheet accounts.* Complete annual budgets and periodic re-forecasting to review level.* Invoice and Credit Control customers and update the Company cash forecast.* Support in the weekly reconciliation of labour deployment.* Review supplier invoices and liaise internally and with the supplier to resolve any queries.* Process ad-hoc reports and project tasks as required from the Senior Management Accountant and the Senior Finance Team based at Head Office.About you as the Assistant Management Accountant:* AAT qualified or qualified through university degree* Have previous experience in a Finance role, to include P&Ls, Budgeting/forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and income matching* Display proven attention to detail and possess an analytical approach* Strong Excel skills and comfortable using MSWord and PowerBI* Hard working and flexible, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines* Good communicator at all levels in the businessIf you want to be considered for this role, all applicants must submit CVs online or send to
