Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently partnered with a well-established manufacturing business based in Sheffield to assist in the recruitment of a committed Assistant FP&A Accountant to join their close knit and friendly finance team.The Assistant FP&A Accountant will provide Finance support to the Operations teams and will be responsible for the delivery of the following services across a number of operational areas.Duties & Responsibilities of the Assistant FP&A Accountant will include:* Reconciliation of Asset, labour and material bookings to customer products* Ensuring all direct costs associated with production are booked to job operations in the (ERP) system on a weekly basis* Assist the Financial Controller in preparation of forward-looking data to assist budget and forecast preparation* Workflow update & recoveries* Recoveries forecast* Margin forecast* Variable manufacturing costs, especially Staff utilisation, Energy costs and Consumables* Fixed manufacturing costs, especially Works salaries, R&M, Customer claims, P&M utilisation* Central Overhead analysis* Staff Cost analysis - Overtime and Absence* Preparation of new KPI pack* Demonstrate the highest ethical standards and exemplify the company values and behaviours* Other ad hoc duties as directed by the FP&A Accounting teamThe successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:* Working towards AAT qualification* Advanced excel and MS Office with strong excel data manipulation skills, utilising pivot tables, VLOOKUP and Sumif formulas* Manage and interpret high volumes of financial data* Production of labour reports and accurate / timely analysis of labour utilisation* Diligent influencer with strong communication skills both verbal and written* Good teamwork ethic and flexible approach * Self-motivated with an appetite for learningThis role will commence ASAP, so please apply now or contact Hannah Guy for more information.Elevation Accountancy & Finance focuses on the recruitment of talented Accountancy and Finance professionals across all levels, from entry level trainees through to post qualified accountants.
