Job Description

Are you passionate about fostering creativity and inspiring young minds through the world of art Were seeking a dynamic and innovative Art Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Sheffield starting September 2024!We believe in the power of artistic expression to ignite imagination, cultivate critical thinking, and empower students to explore their unique talents. As an Art Teacher, youll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and make a lasting impact onthe lives of our students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students develop their artistic skills and techniques.
  • Organise art exhibitions, competitions, and other events to showcase student work and celebrate their achievements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching art at the secondary level preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
