Job Description

Our client, a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Sheffield are actively looking for an Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist with some experience and an interestin the Project Management aspects of projects. Our client are looking to invest in the successful Architectural Technologist and give them experience and an opportunity as a Project Manager and as such, welcome candidates from various disciplines to apply(such as Building Surveyors, Architects and Technologists). You will have the chance to get involved in projects including small to large scale extensions, refurbishments and conversions and work within a variety of sectors including commercial, educationaland residential.Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration

Architectural Technologist Position Overview
  • Work within a talented multidiscipline team
  • Work on various projects, primarily within the commercial sector, primarily focusing on refurbishment projects
  • Responsible for constructing the works in accordance with the designs; co-ordinating and managing day to day activity
  • Liaising with the Design team to ensure specifications are met
  • Work with the commercial team in the selection of subcontractors and ensure they are effectively managed throughout the project
  • Liaising with various sub-contractors on their current programme of works
  • Liaising with architects, engineers and other additional consultants
  • Attending Project meetings
Architectural Technologist Position Requirements
  • Live within a commutable distance of Sheffield
  • Strong UK background as a Building Surveyor/Technologist/Architect looking to progress into a Project Manager role
  • Site experience
  • Experience within the commercial sector
  • Contract administration experience beneficial but not essential
