You need to be highly analytical yet also a good people person.Applications are invited for a professional, highly motivated and capable Archaeological Consultant, ideally with a strong track record and developed skills sets, to undertake consultancy and be part of our highly capable Heritage Consultancy team. Havingexperience of providing sound and successful client advice, production of excellent consultancy documents and relationship building is necessary. We are looking for highly developed negotiation skills, an outstanding communicator (listening and verbal andwritten comms) and be of a highly professional and personable disposition. There is flexibility in the location of the post as it will be attached to one of our offices with home-working options, but with some regular meetings with other team members and theHead of Heritage Consultancy to whom you will be accountable.You will need a forensic attitude to consultancy work, the ability to think from multiple perspectives and a passion for accuracy. Ability to use GIS will be an advantage, and if not then a genuine appetite to learn the basics quickly for which trainingcan be given. A detailed working knowledge of the planning system and British archaeology is essential. You must be able to work as an effective team member who can be relied upon to deliver to tight deadlines.
