Job Description

Our Client, Sheffield City Council, is seeking a Children’s Advanced Practitioner to join their Team.Fantastic payrate of £35 per hour!Are you a Childrens Social Worker, passionate about making a difference in your community Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity!Responsibilities of this role:

  • Effectively manage a caseload of the most complex and high risk cases, using the signs of safety framework for all social work practice.
  • Co-work difficult cases with less experienced social workers, including newly qualified social workers, to ensure quality and consistency of decision making.
  • Provide practice teacher support to students on placement. Guide and provide support, assess practice and feedback, so that students can gain the right knowledge and skills for Children’s Social Work.
  • Lead on social work improvement projects as discussed and agreed with the Service Manager and Senior Fieldwork Manager.
  • Build relationships with children, young people, and all key family members as the basis for all support and child protection responses.
Requirements of this role:
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2years’ experience.
