Job Description

Job title: Administration AssistantSalary: Up to £23,400 pro-rata, depending on qualifications and experienceLocation:Home-working, Sheffield areaJob Type: Permanent, part-time, 15 hours per week (0.4fte) flexible hoursBhayani Recruitment is working in partnership with a rapidly-expanding Sheffield-based family business with a focus on health-related training and education. This company was founded by two Sheffield-based GPs to support a person-centred approach to deliveringhealth and social care in the NHS.Summary of roleIn this new role, you will be part of a small team supporting the planning and administration of a suite of training programmes for the health and social care sector. You will be expected to be trustworthy and reliable, able to work from your home (allIT equipment will be provided) and to attend job-related training and regular team meetings in the Sheffield area. You will have a key role in ensuring course participants are fully prepared for their training experiences by providing timely information, learningresources and follow-up materials.What will you be doing

  • Working closely within the administration team with training, guidance and support from the Operations Manager
  • Supporting business administration operations from initial training course enquiries (from individuals and organisations) through to managing individual and group bookings, course attendance, assignment submissions and participation/completion certificates
  • Operating autonomously and under your own initiative using standard operating procedures.
  • Attending regular meetings with the Operations Manager and with the Company Directors in Sheffield.
  • Ensuring that instructions and deadlines are met, and that delegated work is completed correctly and efficiently with attention to detail.
  • Performing essential routine clerical and administrative tasks to support Customer Relations Management using relevant IT systems and databases
  • maintaining confidential records related to course participant details and confidential assessment materials.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Maths and English GCSE Level 5 or above
  • Relevant IT, business and administration training and qualifications
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Good level of IT experiencePC literate, fully competent with Outlook and MS Office packages. Mail merge skills desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand administration processes and competency in general office administration
  • flexible and self-motivated with a can do attitude and a keen interest in personal development of knowledge and skills.
  • able to be independent in work style but also work as part of a team
  • Able to meet deadlines with a good sense of time management.
  • Good problem-solving skills and strong organisational ability
  • Experience of handling confidential data, emails and telephone business communications
  • Experience of using a CRM (customer relationship management system)(desirable)
  • Experience of working in the health and social care sector (desirable)
