Accounts & Audit SeniorSheffieldCirca £35,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience)Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists, Clark Wood, are currently working with a prestigious and leading firm of chartered accountants in Sheffield who are looking to add an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accounts & Audit Senior to their team.This well respected firm have a fantastic presence in the area and they are known for providing a consistently excellent level of service to their clients, whilst also being renowned as a fantastic place for individuals to develop their careers and experiencedue to the wide diversity of exposure they can offer. As an Accounts & Audit Senior, the successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors. The role will include the preparation and review of accounts and tax compliancework as well as leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion. The audit element of the role is likely to account for approximately 50% of the workload. You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development. The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position.
