Fantastic opportunity has arisen, working for a leading business who are based in Sheffield.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. The right candidate will be an experienced accountant who has experience with purchase and sales invoices.This is a part time temporary role for approximately 16 weeks, however this could get extended. There will be the option to either do 3 full days or 5 shorter days and work between 20 - 25 hours depending on what works best for yourself.The role;- Raising sales invoices/credit memos and proformas - Processing all customer receipts and payments. - Checking Bankline on a daily basis. - Chasing overdue debt by phone and email. - Ensuring queries are investigated and resolved in a timely manner. - Matching and coding supplier invoices. - Processing staff expenses and company credit cards. - Preparing and posting intercompany transactions. - Reconciling supplier statements and resolution of queries. - Weekly BACS payment runs, including issuing the remittance advices. Experience;- Experience of working in a similar role demonstrating a high level of customer care and attention to detail in all aspects of their work.- Good administration and organisational skills with ability to manage and conflictingpriorities.- Willingness to multi-task as a member of a small team and contribute to organisationalobjectives. - Willing to undertake some cross-training with other posts within the department to ensure commonality of procedures and flexibility to cater for high workload periods. - Ability to deal with internal and external queries confidently, demonstrate excellentcommunication skills including responding to emails and telephone calls in a timely manner.- Maintain confidentiality and to deal sensitively and diplomatically with a range of people.- Experience of influencing others, with the ability to adjust communications style, asnecessary.- Proficient numeracy skills ensuring financial records are maintained to a high standard withattention to detailTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
