Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly reputable business based in Dinnington, as they look to recruit a hard-working Accounts Assistant with a genuine passion for finance to join their team.You will join a friendly team within a growing business and become integral to the success of the company, this is the perfect opportunity for a driven individual to grab with both hands and get stuck in! Ideally you will have come from a finance backgroundand have experience within a similar Accounts role involving company payroll. Duties & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include: * General management of the companys cashflow through maintenance of accurate cashflow forecasts* Process and administer the monthly payroll using Sage Payroll* Assist with monthly management account preparation* Maintenance and reconciliation of the companys bank accounts and petty cash* Maintenance, reconciliation and analysis of expenses and credit card accounts* Raising weekly and monthly BACS payments in accordance with set payment timescales* To process and submit VAT returns on a quarterly basis* To provide cross cover with other members of the finance and administration team* Any other duties as may be required from time to time within the capabilities and competence of the individual with appropriate training, where requiredTo be successfully considered for the role, you will have:* Motivated, enthusiastic self starter with a sense of personal pride in your work and a positive work ethos* Good organisational skills are essential* Preferably AAT qualified (or similar qualification)* A minimum of 2 years working within an accounts environment* Experience processing company payroll * Experience using Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll is preferential* Must be PC literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelBenefits Include: * Flexible start & finish times* AAT Study Support * Onsite Gym* Free onsite parking (town centre location) * New, modern offices If you match the specified criteria and are interested in discussing the position in more detail, please dont hesitate to contact Soraya Downing or apply today!
