Key Account Manager - Aerospace / Metals£50,000 - £53,000Elevation Recruitment are actively recruiting a Key Account Manager for a leading manufacturing business in South Yorkshire.This is a mainly office-based Key Account Manager role working with customers in the Aerospace and Defence sector so previous experience in these industries, or within metal forgings is essential.The role is managing a portfolio of customers and contracts and requires someone with a strong commercial bias.Key Account Manager Role & Responsibilities:*Rigorous pursuit of additional contractual business in line with the companys growth targets with a nimbleness to react accordingly to market and business changes*Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer and market dynamics*Committed to addressing customer issues across all functions including operations, quality, technical and commercial*Work in conjunction with operations to offer solutions and services to existing and prospective customers*Take the lead in developing and executing an overall customer strategy for the company*Establish close links with Group manufacturing, quality and technical support teamsKey Account Manager Skills & Experience:* Proven track record in an Account Management role, developing new project-based business and managing relationships with existing clients* Experience within Aerospace, Defence or Metallurgy essential* Strong presentation and negotiation skills* Team player able to integrate with, colleagues, across the business* Must be able to travel as and when required
