We have a full-time opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to support people with a learning disability in our 4-bedded supported living property in Sheerness, as well as individuals based in the surrounding community.Your role as Senior Support Worker will be to work as part of a team, be a key worker and support your colleagues to promote the independence of our service users. You will be required to support the manager in the daily running of the service and must be IT literate. You will also undertake staff supervisions and chair team meetings.Support Worker Requirements:Our service includes community access for the tenants that we support, and we would therefore welcome applications from candidates with a full, clean driving licence.Previous experience is essential for this opportunity, and you must be able to demonstrate a reliable and flexible approach to people with a learning disability. Ideally, you will hold an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to working towards it. For the right person, a fully funded apprenticeship can be provided to gain the qualification if needed.You will be working within a team to provide 24-hour cover, 7 days a week.
