Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Vehicle Technician to work on an exciting project for the World’s leading online retailer working within a team in a state of the art and well-equipped technical centre fitting out vans ready for deliveries to be made to customers who have purchased products online.The role is based in Sheerness, Kent, working Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm - Overtime may be requiredThe Role:As a Lead technician, you will be required to oversee the team of vehicle technicians and their workload :

  • Prioritising and distributing work to all technicians
  • Assisting automotive electricians in the instillation of electrical modifications, bulkheads and other fitments when needed
  • Overseeing the general smooth running of the operation
    • What kind of person we are looking forWe are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Lead technician that can hit the ground running and want to work on this exciting project.Some key qualities for this role are listed below:
  • Able to work confidently managing a team of technicians
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must hold a full category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
  • Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player.
