Job Description

We have a lovely School in Kent looking for a Part-Time Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher to start ASAP on a Fixed Term contract.About you:

  • Responsibilities:
  • Be able to create a fun and stimulating environment for children to learn, develop and thrive in.
  • To plan, prepare and develop teaching materials, schemes of work, teaching programmes and methods of teaching and assessment.
  • To plan and prepare for lessons and to assess and evaluate lessons following school policies.
  • Ensuring to keep records of assessments and keeping up to date on each pupils learning, development, their progress and attainment ensuring to follow the schools assessment policy.
  • To mark and provide feedback on work products to pupils and their parents.
  • Ensuring when teaching you are considering all childrens individual needs.
  • To ensure equal access for all pupils and promoting inclusive practice.
  • To be following the schools overall ethos, work and aims.
  • To also be promoting the pupils well-being.
  • To ensure you safeguard pupils, following the safeguarding policy and procedures and working with relevant professionals regarding safeguarding.
