Job Description

Logistics Coordinator - Livingston - Salary £26,000 - 27,000 p/aAre you an experienced logistics coordinator within a FMCG environment Do you want to join a global businessWe are looking to speak to experienced logistics coordinators/administrators for a great new role based in Livingston (on-site parking available). For this role you will be a self-starter, confident communicator and able to work to your own initiative dailywhilst meeting any customer, client or business requirements. Ideally, you will have experience within a FMCG or bottling environment, within the busy logistics function and have experience dealing with various systems and documentation daily.This is an exciting opportunity to join a global business who are well known in their field!This is a full-time permanent role working Monday - Thursday 7am-3:30pm and Friday 7am - 3pm. There is a salary available for this role of up to £27,000 p/a and this role will be office based until advised otherwise.Are you who we are looking for

  • You are an experienced logistics coordinator within aFMCG or bottling environment (preferred)
  • You are a confident communicator
  • You have experience in the use of Microsoft Packages, ERP systems and warehouse management systems
  • You are a self starter and able to work to your own initiative to solve problems
  • You are process and quality driven with a strong attention to detail
  • You have excellent communication skills both written and orally
  • You are able to organise and prioritise tasks daily
  • You are KPI driven and enjoy working towards and achieving targets
  • You are able to work well individually and within a wider team environment
What is the day to day like
  • Booking in deliveries daily for various customers and clients
  • Creating dispatch paperwork and allocating stock
  • Liaising and building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and business departments
  • Assessing and adjusting approaches to various processes and procedures
  • Releasingwork orders to production and liaising with planning on any amendments
  • Creating and issuing pick sheets for logistics colleagues
  • Assisting with any staff shop activities when required
  • Raising any requisitions for dry goods
  • Working well individually and assisting the wider team daily
  • Supporting the team with any admin or system activities daily
  • Creating various documentation
  • Assisting and dealing with any ad-hoc project work
