Job Description

Expanding Financial Services Organisation based in South Manchester require an Assistant Management for a 12 month fixed term contract (hybrid working, partly from home and in the office)Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting and Control and working closely with the Senior leadership team you will have responsibility for the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual MI reporting.Specific duties include:

  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for multiple entities
  • Distribution of internal MI
  • Responsible for the preparation of budgets, actuals and forecast for one of the business entities
  • Assist in preparation of monthly board slides
  • Support submission of Statutory Accounnt
  • Ensure the integrity and recoverability of unbilled disbursements
  • Support and develop members of the management accounts team
  • Support the Groups annual audit
  • Assist in the delivery of the month end balance sheet review ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  • Monitor debtor and creditor days
  • Review and provide commentary on monthly variances from actual to budget and forecast
  • Preparation of monthly analysis as requested
  • Preparation of monthly Bad Debt provision for the Group
  • Monitor and analyse Credit Repairs
  • Monitor and analyse Intercompany
  • Assist in preparation of monthly commissions
In order to be considered for this role you must be at least final level ACCA/ACA/CIMA or have equivalent experience. You will also have at least intermediate level excel and have previous experience of working on a finance ERP systemIf successful you will receive a 12 month fixed term contract, competitive salary and the opportunity to gain a permanent contractClick on the link to apply
