Job Description

Warehouse Assistant MorningsThis is an excellent opportunity to work as a Warehouse Assistant Mornings for Aldis purpose built RDC IN Long Eaton - Sawley on a Temp to Perm basis and contracted after 13 weeks. This modern site , free parking, and a high level of trainingprovided.Genuine opportunities to grow within one of the largest supermarket businesses in the Europe.   • You will be working 5 out of 7 days , you must be available to work some weekends.
  • Fixed shifts with a 4 week rota allowing you to plan ahead
  • Start dates are ASAP
Warehouse Assistant Mornings - Start time is 5am and 10am rotating every week and starting salary is £9.50 per hour increasing to £10.05 per hour once full time ( 8 hour shifts)Location: Long Eaton - SawleyDuration: Ongoing, Temporary to Permanent role after 12 weeksRole of a Warehouse Assistant Mornings
  • Loading vehicles (Manual Handling and MHE use)
  • No picking
  • Checking products as the enter or exit the building
  • Goods in
  • Dispatch
  • Moving stock (Manual Handling and MHE use)
  • Re-stacking and wrapping pallets when required
  • Checking accuracy of pallets picked for delivery (numeracy and accuracy)
  • Communicating across different levels of management effectively
  • Supporting the deputy managers in their duties (a lot of the above)
