Job Description

Royal Mail Warehouse Operative Are you looking for a seasonal warehouse role with Royal Mail With Christmas fast approaching, we are looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to help deliver to the nation during the busiest time of the year.As a Warehouse Operative, youll be working as part of a friendly team and will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, scanning, and labelling parcels, ready to sort them so they arrive at their destination safely and on-time.Royal Mail is one of the UKs most trusted and loved brands, and youll play a vital role on helping to deliver Christmas across the UK.Pay and shift patterns:Various shift patterns are on offer, and these are:

Morning: Monday to Saturday 06:00 - 14:00
Late: Monday to Saturday 14:00 - 22:00
Night: Monday to Saturday 22:00 - 06:00
Pay Rates:
- Earlies 6am - 2pm = £12.29
- Lates 2pm - 10pm = £13.63
- Nights 10pm - 6am = £14.81

What skills and experience should you have

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Flexibility, able to adapt to changing situations
Excellent communications skills
Able to push trolleys (up to 250kg) and lift heavy mail bags (up to 11kg)
Good literacy level to read postcodes and addresses with tested checking skills
A can do approach and be confident working to tight deadlines
Experience in similar role is a plus, but its not essential

Pay: £12.29 - £14.81 per hour, depending on shift
Benefits: weekly pay, holiday pay
Overtime available
