Job Description

We are passionate about caring for this wonderfulproperty and visitors are at the heart of all we do.We are a busy team, who like a challenge and work at a fast pace. We work collaboratively with each other and thewider property andwere hands on and work together to get the job done. This post will require weekend and holiday working at our busy touristattraction.Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing As a Volunteering Assistant, youll support managers with the day to day management and organisation of volunteering. Youll act as a consistent point of contact and help with the administration and maintaining of volunteer systems.Youll need to be well organised in this support role, and also be confident in managing volunteers. Youll assist the volunteer management team in ensuring our team are giving a high standard of customer service everytime, for everyone.Please also read the full role profile, attached to this advert. Who were looking for To deliver this role successfully, youll need to;

  • Demonstrate an understanding of volunteering and be enthusiastic about promoting the benefits of great volunteer involvement
  • Have excellent customer services and communication skills
  • Have enthusiasm for working with volunteers and understand the differences between staff and volunteers
  • Have a flexible approach and be a great team player, be able to multi-task and work in collaboration with other departments
  • Be well organised and attentive to detail
And it would be beneficial if you could demonstrate the following experience on your CV;
  • A working knowledge of volunteering practice
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Administration/support services
