Job Description

Payroll AdministrationSalary: £11 - £13 per hourLocation: KentJob-type: Contract, Part-timeWe are looking to speak with an experienced Payroll Officer who is looking to work for a well-established veterinary practice based in Kent. Our client has been in operation since 1895 and offers a family-friendly service in a caring and professional environment. Helping provide and guide you through all the services available to your pets.You will be responsible for running full payroll reports, maintaining payroll processes, checking pension contributions and reporting on a weekly basis to the financial controller. You will also be involved with ensuring every member of staff across all sites is paid correctly and on time. The practice has a duty of care towards its staff to make sure this is done well.Our client is offering 2 days a week working from their offices in Sevenoaks.Key requirements & duties:

  • 3 years minimum experience within similar roles.
  • Finance or Payroll qualification (AAT)
  • Must have solid working experience with Xero Payroll.
  • Responsible for running Payroll Process including, full reports on payroll, pension and taxes.
  • Working closely with the financial controller.
  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  • Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
