Electrical Shift Engineer - 39k - Based in SevenoaksMy client is one of the largest Engineering maintenance providers in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across tens of thousands of locations around the UK. They have been renewed the contract for a Critical site based in Sevenoaks. This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers to join a forward thinking business who look to train those want to be trained and also proactively promote from within.This role is perfect for those who live in Kent and doesnt want to travel into London everydayThe Role:We are recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to work for one of the UKs largest maintenance contractors, these positions are based on a critical corporate site with a high level of technology and plant such as ; BMS, UPS, Chillers, Downflow Units, Battery Banks, AHU, FCU, etc.The Package will include a starting salary of £39,000 per annum plus great overtime rates, shift cover opportunities, pension plus other benefits and lots of training such as ILM and HV AP.Successful candidates will be required to complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks in maintaining site assets ensuring equipment availability, to perform higher level technical fault finding and repairs. They will be responsible for performing operational checks and first line repairs of building technology systems. Identify then estimate repair or project works conforming to best practice and regulations, plus complete repair/project works when delegated.Those selected should have experience with mechanical and electrical services, fault finding and repairs to standard installations in corporate offices up to large commercial and critical buildings.This role is based on a continental shift pattern which includes both day and night shifts. The shift pattern is based around a 12 hour shifts.This is a high end, prestigious building, so the client interaction is high. The ability to communicate well and be approachable to the client consistently is very important.
