Job Description

Service Desk Team LeaderSelbyWe pride ourselves on providing a first-class IT service to all at Drax, ensuring everyone has the technical support they need. As a business we cant do what we do best without the technology in place and running well.We are now looking for a Service Desk Team Leader to help drive our Service Desk team in Selby. You will act as the focal point for co-ordination and escalation of IT service activities and place high value on providing great customer service and high-quality support.Day to day you will be managing the overall team as they ensure that incidents and requests are dealt with within SLA and manage any escalations across the business. One of the roles key deliverables is successful mentoring, development and management of the service desk team members.You will therefore demonstrate previous experience managing a successful team, affecting change and having the ability and confidence to possibly make difficult decisions when required. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering great customer service with superb communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.Ideally, you will need to have a good level of computer literacy across corporate and operational environments, but this is not mandatory. Previous experience with ServiceNow and knowledge of Active Directory and SCCM would also be ideal.
