Senior Test Analyst

Job Description

Joining Drax as a Senior Test Analyst, youll use the latest technology to deliver business benefit more quickly, improve user experience and drive operational efficiencies. With an initial focus on IT transformation programmes, youll ensure accurate, quality delivery of both 3rd party and in-house developed applications and systems. About the RoleYoull take responsibility for all test phases in the software development life cycle from static testing through to implementation. Day-to day youll be involved in estimating, requirement reviews, ensuring traceability of requirement through test execution performing functional; SIT, regression testing, facilitating UAT and defect management. Youll produce relevant documentation to facilitatethe implementation of changed software.This role gives scope to collaborate with 3rd party suppliers, other IT functions and wider business system users. Youll build strong relationships with stakeholders and leading small testing groups including Application Support Analysts, 3rd party AccountManagers and 3rd party Developers. Youll also have the opportunity to develop in coaching and communication by mentoring Test Analysts within the team.About YouBringing extensive testing experience of applications, reports and data validation, youll have experience of all test phases across the software lifecycle. This includes writing test plans and designing test cases, writing queries to verify backend functionalityand writing data-driven stakeholder progress reports.An understanding and use of Azure DevOps, Postman API and SoapUI would be ideal along with experience around SQL and Oracle.About DraxDrax is playing a vital role in helping change the way energy is generated, supplied and used.
