Job Description

Office ManagerWe are recruiting for a small and rapidly expanding company in Bubwith near Selby for an experienced and organised Office Manager who enjoys variety and autonomy. Working flexible, full-time hours with some home working, this is a great opportunity for the right person to have a real and positive impact upon this exploding small business whilst benefittingfrom a positive work life balance.The role of the Office Manager includes basic bookkeeping, taking calls, responding to and composing emails, providing quotes to clients and some basic marketing e.g. social media.The Office Manager ensures smooth running of the office and involves;

  • Coordinating office activities to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Supporting field staff and divide responsibilities to ensure optimum performance
  • Managing agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc.
  • Managing phone calls and correspondence
  • Supporting budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Creating and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Tracking stocks of office supplies and placing orders when necessary
  • Submitting timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals when required
  • Overseeing invoicing and credit control
The ideal Office Manager will have similar, previous experience, outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organisational and leadership skills are essential as well as familiarity with office management proceduresand basic accounting principles.Salary: £25-30KHours: Monday to Friday 9-5pmLocation: Bubwith, SelbyJob type: Full time, permanentBookkeeping/diary management/reports/presentations/office manager/communication skills
