If youre as passionate about protecting the future as we are then youll fit right in.We are delighted to offer one exceptional candidate the opportunity to join the Commercial Trading team as a Junior Fuel Trader. You will join the fuel trading team based at Drax Power Station responsible for maintaining supply of fuel to the station and adding value to the portfolio. Within this role you will work closely with the Fuel Traders and support them with all aspects of physical commodity trading within the Biomass market, including financial valuations and modelling, contract management and market reporting. Youll be confident engaging with relevant stakeholders both internal and external and be comfortable managing data across various systems. The successful candidate will take ownership over their areas of responsibility and work closely with the team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This role will be joining a fast-paced, cross functional, dynamic team so ideally you will be able to react quickly to situations and challenge where necessary.We are open to candidates from different backgrounds who are looking to build a career in a commercial environment within a growing industry.
