Elevation Recruitment are looking for an experience HV/ Power Generation Electrical Engineer to join one of our largest distillery manufacturing clients based in the Selby, North Yorkshire area with immediate effect!Salary: £60,000+Location: SelbyHours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with on-call rotaA few of the many benefits: * Overtime rates available * Work for a well-established, financially stable company* Generous pension scheme* Healthcare scheme after 1 years service* 4x Life Assurance Scheme* Bonus scheme after 12 months serviceDuties of an HV/ Power Generation Electrical Engineer: * Perform Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties up to and including 11kv* Point of reference for site and responsible for the operation and repair of gas turbines, steam boilers and gas compressors* Liaise with contracted service provider* Responsible for the operation and repair of HV and LV switchboards, transformers, OPS systems, power factor correction, variable speed drives (up to 1MW) and other electrical equipment* Work with Electrical engineering team to fault find and solutions* Reviewing, improving and implementing internal maintenance and safety standards* Support the implementation of CMMS systems* Conduct electrical inspections and testing, ensuring all documentation is completed and updated* Support the maintenance team as and when requiredDesired Experience of an HV/ Power Generation Electrical Engineer:* Must have a strong background within a previous HV Electrical Engineering role* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering * Proven experience in operation SAP and HV Switcher or be able to demonstrate good progression towards this authorisation* Good working knowledge of protection systems, HV Switchgear, electrical generating plant, HV/LV transformers, control systems* Experience with fault diagnostics and solutions* Knowledge to current electrical legislation* Power generation, combustion and production experience* Multi-skilled in Mechanical practise also* Strong computing skills- MS Office and Windows 10* Must be a team player and share information/ mentor juniorsFor further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation Recruitment.REFER A FRIEND!
