Job Description

Whether you’re an individual looking to learn something new, or a business looking for staff training, this company offer a wide range of courses that will develop skills and knowledge for everyone!This education provider are looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing team!Working as part of the Finance Team this role will lead the Sales Ledger function of the Team with two direct reports - providing management, leadership and direction to ensure the smooth running of the function. Business partnering with the wider businessto ensure contract management and drive revenue generation. Owning the 12 month cash flow, and inputting into the weekly cash flow with a key driver been revenue. Along with supporting credit control for the business, ensuring debtor days remain low.WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW AS A FINANCE MANAGER

  • UP TO £40,000 PER ANNUM
  • Working Monday-Friday, 9.00am-17.00pm
  • Hybrid working 2 days per week from home (once fully trained)
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

A SNAPSHOT OF THE FINANCE MANAGERS DAY
  • Supporting with preparation of the Management Accounts and Board report through Revenue variance analysis and debtors information
  • Preparation and submission of Quarterly VAT returns
  • Development of Team, including regular 121’s and performance management where appropriate
  • Key member in working groups, including Contracts Management and Operational Review Group, providing a challenge to other departments and escalating any issues as necessary.
  • Assisting Financial Controller with annual budget preparation and re-forecasting, along with any other ad-hoc reporting

  • Part Qualified/Qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Previous experience in an accounting environment
  • Previous Line Management experience
  • Excellent excel skills and report writing skills
