Elevation Recruitment are looking for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our largest distillery manufacturing clients based in the Selby, North Yorkshire area with immediate effect!Salary: £30,000 - £40,000Location: SelbyHours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with on-call rotaA few of the many benefits: * Overtime rates available * Work for a well-established, financially stable company* Generous pension scheme* Healthcare scheme after 1 years service* Life Assurance SchemeDuties of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: * Carry out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance in a timely manner* Attending to breakdowns, fault finding and rectifications* Happy to take part in an on-call rota system* Carry out PPMs, fault find, rectify and rebuild on major components such as pumps, centrifuges, screw conveyors, milling equipment, gear boxes, pulleys, shafts, bearings and belts* Daily equipment inspections and greasing * Working with other teams to complete tasks* Support CMMS systems of all repairs, servicing and modifications* Always working to a zero breakdown policy* Attending to breakdowns and working to ensure machinery downtime is kept to a minimum* Other duties as and when requiredDesired Experience of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:* Must have a strong background within Mechanical Engineering* Apprentice trained with NVQ Level3, HNC/ HND/ ONC/ OND or equivalent in Mechanical engineering* Ability to work in all temperatures and weather, both indoor and outdoor* Ideally within a manufacturing environment previously* Must be a team player, but also able to work from own initiative if needs beFor further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation Recruitment.REFER A FRIEND!
