Job Description

A small school in Sandbach is looking for Teaching Assistant to join their team on a 2 term basis. The post is based in Key Stage Two and is expected to start in January 2023 and last until the Summer Term of 2023. The role is class based with an elementofsmall group work.We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant who is committed to enhancing the education of children within a classroom.The successful applicant will have prior experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant and will need tounderstand thenationalcurriculum and be able to deliver this to the highest level possible. Candidates must hold a recognised Primary Teaching Assistant Qualification Level 2 and have recent school experience.This post is based in Sandbach and would be accessible for candidates from Congleton, Crewe, Winsford, Holmes Chapel, Middlewich and Alsager.If the role of Primary Teaching Assistant interests you, and you meet the following requirements then we would love to hear from you.

  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification with recent experience of working within a school (within the last 2 years)
  • Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
  • Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities

  • Be committed to providing engaging and exciting learning opportunities
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to request one via ourselves.
