Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic, passionate, and qualified secondary Science TeacherDo you have experience of teaching Science up to Key Stage 5Academics are currently working with a Good Ofsted rated Cheshire East school that is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Science Teacher to start from April 2023. Our partnership school offers a strong academic curriculum and it is famouslyknown of having a national reputation for brilliance.The Role

  • Start date: Monday 17th April 2023
  • Full time (Monday-Friday)
  • Teaching to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is essential for this role. In addition, teaching up to A-Level would be desirable, but not essential.
  • For the right candidate a permanent position is currently available for this role.
Role Requirements
  • Hold both the relevant Science degree and teaching qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teaching Status).
  • You must already have a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
  • A passion for teaching Science (including biology, physics, and chemistry) with the ability to deliver and plan fun and engaging lessons.
  • Provide professional references that evidence your experience of teaching Science in a school setting.
  • Have strong behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge.
