Academics are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary): 32.5 hours per week. This position will be on a term by term basis dependant on the child being in school.Are you a cheerful, positive person who enjoys working in a dedicated team of staff who support children and families at every level Are you well organised and experienced at working 1:1 with a child with autismThe position is suitable for a Teaching Assistant with proven experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs with the ability to meet a childs social and emotional need.Knowledge and experience of daily individualised structured learning programmes in literacy and numeracy, such as Precision Teaching. To provide support to model and scaffold a pupils learning as appropriate and allow for increasing levels of independence.To develop speech, language and communication skills and support the ability to process instructions.We are looking for someone who is passionate about children and their learning, who is emotionally intelligent and approachable with excellent communication skills.
