Job Description

Purchasing AdministratorFabulous opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join a small friendly family run business who have been established over 15 years.Excellent salary + the following make this a chance not to be missed!

The role will be busy, with great variation duties are likely to include:
  • Place orders with suppliers
  • Create and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
  • Work closely with the warehouse manager
  • Negotiating prices and one-off discounts from suppliers
  • Assist in arrangements for goods to be delivered from overseas suppliers.
  • Deal with queries regarding deliveries and associated invoices
  • Work with the office team to provide excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will need to:
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have strong customer service skills
  • Able to manage a busy role
  • Able to prioritise a number of tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Be a conscientious, self-motivated individual able to apply initiative.
  • Demonstrate a common sense approach to delivering internal and external customer service.
