Job Description

Permanent Location - Holmes Chapel Mon-Thurs - 37.5-hour contract Are you a Project Engineer with experience working in the pharmaceutical sector Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of innovative inhalation products and devices including integrated drug solutions, medical check valves andinjection devices.Our client is going through exponential growth, which has led to requiring two Project Engineers (One of the roles is for general Engineering expertise and the other role for someone with Equipment (packing and filling) experience), meaning fantastic opportunities for progression and development; is growth important to you Ifso, click apply today.As a Project Engineer, you will have a proven track record of managing the life-cycle of a project. You will facilitate the smooth running of the project, ensuring cross function resource requirements are identified and secured. Does this soundlike youAdditional benefits:

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide an effective comprehensive project engineering service for assigned capital investment projects
  • Development of work breakdown structures, cost estimates and project programmes
  • Manage the compliance life-cycle of the project, including change control, QRA and responding to quality investigations
  • Ensure HSE governance process is flowed including Hazard Study process and that actions are tracked and completed
  • Manage contract engineering staff as required by each project
Your experience:
  • 3 - 5 years experience ideally in a Pharmaceutical Engineering or highly regulated environment, in a project engineering role with multi-skilled, mechanically biased experience of typical plant and equipment found in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility,including vessels, pipework, pumps, HVAC and purified water
  • Sound understanding of change control processes within a GMP environment
  • Have sound engineering knowledge and experience to enable effective appreciation of the customers requirements and the environment in which the solution will be required to operate
  • Strong practical and technical problem solving and decision-making skills which are supported by a strong practical mechanically biased working knowledge of mechanical equipment, control systems, instrumentation, and process systems problem diagnosis
Your qualifications:
  • A recognised Degree or equivalent in a Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering biased subject.
