Job Description

Our family owned and fully independent insurance brokerage are looking to recruit a new account handler for our personal lines team.This team look after customers across the Cheshire region and purchases various insurance policies on their behalf. Including car, van, home, holiday homes, rental properties and travel.Your job will involve giving advice to existing clients on the insurances they purchase, understanding their needs and sourcing and recommending insurance products which are suitable for their requirements.You will negotiate directly with insurance companies to ensure our clients policies remain value for money and fit for purpose.We are looking to speak with candidates who are either looking for their first full time role post college or higher education, or have worked in a professional (ideally office) environment for a short period of time.You should be passionate about customer service, comfortable speaking to others on the phone and a good written and verbal communicator.In return we offer a generous remuneration package including 25 days holiday allowance, employer pension contribution, flexible working policy, group profit share arrangement and an individual bonus structure of up to 10% salary awarded against mutually agreed performance objectives.Overall Job PurposeTo ensure our customers receive excellent service and independent advice on what insurances are right for them and represent value for money.Job DescriptionManage and prepare new business quotations including generating new sales through cross-sell lists and existing accounts
