Maintenance & Repair Coordinator EUSandbachCompetitive £Founded in 1996 in South Africa and identified in London Stock Exchanges 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain, my client is a global tank container operator specialising in the intermodal transport of bulk liquids with a fleet size of over 9,000 tank containers.The companys headquarters is in the UK and they have offices all over the world. They are looking for a Maintenance and Repair Coordinator to join their team, this is a full time, permanent position.They believe that by creating mutually beneficial relationships and adding value to every person or organization that works with them, they will attract and retain the best people, be the staff, customers, or suppliers.THE ROLEYour role as M&R Coordinator is to maintain the tank fleet and ensure all the fleet is efficiently and economically maintained and repaired, meeting quality standards for the requirements of safe operation.Responsibilities of the M&R Coordinator include but are not limited to: Relationship building with depots and suppliers Monitor and update systems accordingly which will include Adding relevant notes Repair and job costs Test data Approving estimates Raising damage follow up reports Monitoring and approving periodic testing Updating tank availability reports Management and recording of tank certificates Maintaining EU approval report Cross checking tank availability and maintaining stock reports Weekly and monthly reporting and analysis Assisting with invoicing Advocate for the company and company values and behavioursABOUT YOU Maintenance and Repair experience is essential Previous experience of working in international transportation, or the logistics industry is desirable. A can-do outlook and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good computer skills, verbal and written skills, in addition to administrative and office-based experience.
