Job Description

Credit Controller Are you Fluent in French and looking for an opportunity to utilise your languagesWe are currently recruiting for a French speaking Credit Controller to join an established Finance team within a global business based in Sandbach, Cheshire. Based at the UK head office, working as part of a dedicated Credit Control team with numerous offices placed globally, you will be tasked with managing key accounts for dedicated regions.Due to expansion and growth plans this business are looking to open further offices across the world therefore an exciting time to join the team.If you are an experienced Credit Controller, experience of working with multi-currencies and fluent in French this is a great opportunity. In addition, if you would like exposure to working in an all-round accounts role where you will be trained in purchase ledger, this is great for your career development.Reporting into the Credit Control Manager you will be based within a team of 5 credit control staff and in an accounts team of 12.Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing debtors with appropriate reporting
  • Improve and implement debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices.
  • Documenting and managing Sales & Purchase invoices
  • Working in multi-currencies.
  • Reconciling invoices/statements and resolving account queries.
  • Processing purchase invoices received.
  • Matching invoices to job/purchasing records.
  • Monthly account reconciliations as required.
  • Adhering to monthly processing deadlines
    • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff is essential for this job role, alongside being accurate with a good head for numbers and attention to detail.Experience Required
  • Ideally you will be fluent in Frenchas this will an essential part of the role
  • At minimum you will be able to communicate effectively with French customers and have previously used translating software
  • 5 years of previous Credit Control experience
  • International Credit Control and Purchase Ledger experience
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One
  • Strong excel skills
    • Qualifications
  • Ideally you will be studying towards or qualified in CICM
