Job Description

We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Sandbach. This is an exciting time to join this rapidly growing business that is passionate about the environment and has a niche interior designoffering of office plants and living walls. Due to ongoing growth, this is a newly created position to develop both existing and new customers, build a rapport with them and generate sales. The successful applicant will have a substantial database of new andexisting businesses to approach. There is limitless potential in the roleKey duties and responsibilities.

  • Building and maintaining a sales pipeline of new opportunities
  • Developing and nurturing existing customers
  • Following all opportunities through to secured orders
  • Researching and identifying new prospects using a multi-channel approach to including email, social media, telephone and other marketing tools.
  • Partnering with the marketing department and following up on lead generation.
  • Understand the business products and services to be able to be a trusted advisor to potential customers
Requirements Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with potential customers
  • Interpersonal skills for developing relationships with prospects
  • Drive to motivate yourself and set your own goals
  • Initiative and confidence to start things from scratch
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM management
SalaryBasic Salary of £23,000 - £26,000 (neg)Standard Hours 8am-4:30pm (flexibility is on offer to suit personal circumstances)Excellent uncapped commission scheme - realistic OTE 35k+
