Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a confident, finance orientated individual to join a team that continuously exceeds expectations.Job BriefAs a part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support. Your role will include managing the purchase ledger, processing invoicing, reporting on company schemes, assisting with credit control, resolvingqueries both internally and externally and other ad hoc accounting duties as required.Responsibilities:- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounts department.- Processing companies daily and monthly invoicing using our in-house system.- Managing and maintaining the purchase ledger.- Resolving client invoicing queries.- Producing customer statements and reconciling customer accounts.- Reporting for month end close.- Working with credit control to chase payment of outstanding sales invoices.- Monitor and action the accounts team email account along with the team.- Posting customer receipts into the accounting system.Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience:- Has completed or is working towards AAT qualification.- GCSE Maths and English grades A-C or equivalent.- Experience of Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate/advanced Excel. - Excellent organisational skills.- Self-motivated and enthusiastic. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.- Great communication skills with a polite telephone manner.
